This album was inspired through an advent season of change, It was written and released ten years ago as I was adjusting to my mother’s residential change to heaven. It marked a time of transition, a moment of growth, and the realization of a deeper faith through healing.

Over the next few weeks you’ll no doubt start to see O’ Come popping up on the landscape of your favorite social network and streaming platform. It’s a new Christmas offering, but what with the blurred lines of advertising and the rush to beat the competition these days, there doesn’t seem to be traditional calendar seasons anymore. That being the case, management expressed that I should plan on having it available in the beginning of November to achieve a Christmas footprint.
So here’s the announcement of my new single, one that will certainly continue to ramp up over the next few weeks as Thanksgiving approaches.
On the heels of the release of It’s Time, Lord comes the release of O’Come. It’s a prayerful plea for hope in a world where even when there’s a moment of light, there’s still darkness. Relying on a historical refrain, the message is still relevant as we continue to encounter human brokenness on a daily basis.
A re-imagining of a familiar Christmas refrain, as it happened during a spontaneous time of worship in December of 2024. It was sung beneath a prayer reading from the Book of Psalms.

I’m releasing a new single today called ‘A Glad New Year.’ It’s a re-imagining of a Martin Luther prayer written in 1535 called ‘Ah Dearest Jesus.’ At the moment it’s a free download available only at eddymann.com.

January Notebook
I’m currently sojourning to my humble southern homestead. There I hope to read what I haven’t had time to read, listen to what I haven’t had time to listened to, and to create what I haven’t had time to create. Walking at sea level and breathing the fresh salt air has a way of inspiring me like no other place.
My creative calendar reveals that I’m about to begin a new ministry called Homeward Bound. I hope that this will reach so many of you who are at a distance from me, by using an internet platform. The plan is to have live pop-up events to talk, share and to worship. From time to time I may be able to invite some of you to be in house. So keep an eye out on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram as these events will vary in time and day.
Once again we find ourselves waiting expectantly through the season of advent. As I age, I find myself increasingly looking forward to this time of year. I love that we get to remake the set list by revisiting some of the ageless carols of Christmas past. It inevitably awakens the child in me.
As I continue to grow in faith, it also touches a deeper level spiritually. Life is ever changing, and we’re ever evolving, and so it is that the arrival of advent continues to heighten my sensitivity towards those with less.
As I work on the music plans for this months events, I’m struck with the blessed life I get to live. In Luke 12:48 we read, “to whom much is given, much is required.”
When I see the lives of those across our world I’m reminded of how much I have to share… my prayer is that you would join me in that sharing.

December Notebook
We’ll be opening the month, Saturday, December 02, 2017 with our annual visit to the Souled Out Basement. We’ve been making a seasonal appearance here for as long as I can remember and it never gets old. It’s our only Philly performance this month.
The following Saturday, December 09, 2017 we’ll be in King of Prussia, PA at the annual Romans Road & Friends Christmas Show. This will be our forth year at this event which does a great job of collecting toys for those less fortunate.
Lastly, on Saturday, December 16, 2017 we’ll visit Transformation Church in Mays landing, NJ for a seasonal Night of Worship.
