Oh Loving God, Help us
I thought I’d let Robert Louis Stevenson’s Christmas poem speak for me this month. The song of the month Oh, Loving God, Help Us, was inspired and written around his offering.
“Loving Father, help us remember the birth of Jesus, that we may share in the song of the angels, the gladness of the shepherds, and the worship of the wise men.
Close the door of hate and open the door of love all over the world. Let kindness come with every gift and good desires with every greeting. Deliver us from evil by the blessing which Christ brings, and teach us to be merry with clear hearts.
May the Christmas morning make us happy to be Thy children, and the Christmas evening bring us to our beds with grateful thoughts, forgiving and forgiven, for Jesus’ sake. Amen.”

December Notes
There’s another release this month from the Love Strands album. The past two drops have been received well with Grace Is Not A Blue-Eyed Blonde receiving a surprising number of responses from the United Kingdom.
The Winter Run ’19 will be short on stops, but not on substance. I can’t wait to see you, pray with you, and worship with you again. There are a few unconfirmed dates as of this writing so keep an eye out for additional events.

If you haven’t already, please feel free to stream, download and or purchase my newest release Worship in Spirit and Truth. I said this last month, but I really have been blessed by the response. It’s truly been a humbling experience having so many of the songs touch your hearts. He’s Coming
Hi Friends,
Once again we find ourselves waiting expectantly through the season of advent. As I age, I find myself increasingly looking forward to this time of year. I love that we get to remake the set list by revisiting some of the ageless carols of Christmas past. It inevitably awakens the child in me.
As I continue to grow in faith, it also touches a deeper level spiritually. Life is ever changing, and we’re ever evolving, and so it is that the arrival of advent continues to heighten my sensitivity towards those with less.
As I work on the music plans for this months events, I’m struck with the blessed life I get to live. In Luke 12:48 we read, “to whom much is given, much is required.”
When I see the lives of those across our world I’m reminded of how much I have to share… my prayer is that you would join me in that sharing.

December Notebook
We’ll be opening the month, Saturday, December 02, 2017 with our annual visit to the Souled Out Basement. We’ve been making a seasonal appearance here for as long as I can remember and it never gets old. It’s our only Philly performance this month.
The following Saturday, December 09, 2017 we’ll be in King of Prussia, PA at the annual Romans Road & Friends Christmas Show. This will be our forth year at this event which does a great job of collecting toys for those less fortunate.
Lastly, on Saturday, December 16, 2017 we’ll visit Transformation Church in Mays landing, NJ for a seasonal Night of Worship.
