‘He Remembers,’ included on the‘Love Strands’ album, was written back in the spring of 2016 and was inspired by a quote from novelist Elise Wisel, ‘God is God because He remembers.’ Free downloads are available only at eddymann.com.
He remembers my first breath of air
He remembers because he was there
And still my Maker is with me everywhere
He remembers and He’s with me now

Love Strands is truth for the soul. It’s a collection of gospel tinged songs that live in a blues neighborhood. All twelve tracks are culturally inspired and prayerfully spiritually uplifting. Recorded over the past year in the comforts of my hometown of Philly, this release speaks of peace, and brotherly love.
The fourth song released from the ‘Love Strands’ project. A song inspired by Psalm 103:2 ‘Let all that I am praise the Lord; may I never forget the good things he does for me.’
Lyrics:
Surely I’ve been delivered
Surely I’ve walked in your grace
Surely I’ve known your favor
Surely I’ve been blessed by the heavens
Surely I’ve slept in peace
Surely I’ve been led to still waters
Surely I’ve known your comfort
Surely I’ve been led to green pastures
Let all that I am shower you with goodness
Let all that I am honor you with praise
May I never forget all the love you’ve poured upon me
Let all that I am be an offering for all of my days
Surely, I’ve been forgiven
Surely, I’ve been made clean
Surely, I’ve known your kindness
Surely, I’ve known goodness and mercy
Oh, that I’d weave your mercies into song
That my jewels of praise would form another crown for your head
That my soul would give off sweet, sweet music
For your mercy endureth forever
I thought I’d let Robert Louis Stevenson’s Christmas poem speak for me this month. The song of the month Oh, Loving God, Help Us, was inspired and written around his offering.
“Loving Father, help us remember the birth of Jesus, that we may share in the song of the angels, the gladness of the shepherds, and the worship of the wise men.
Close the door of hate and open the door of love all over the world. Let kindness come with every gift and good desires with every greeting. Deliver us from evil by the blessing which Christ brings, and teach us to be merry with clear hearts.
May the Christmas morning make us happy to be Thy children, and the Christmas evening bring us to our beds with grateful thoughts, forgiving and forgiven, for Jesus’ sake. Amen.”

December Notes
There’s another release this month from the Love Strands album. The past two drops have been received well with Grace Is Not A Blue-Eyed Blonde receiving a surprising number of responses from the United Kingdom.
The Winter Run ’19 will be short on stops, but not on substance. I can’t wait to see you, pray with you, and worship with you again. There are a few unconfirmed dates as of this writing so keep an eye out for additional events.
Now go, and play nice!
