All That I Am

What’s your favorite game (card, board, video, etc.)? Why?

Oddly enough I’ve only now realized that I’ve left a pastime or two behind. I used to be an avid simulation player. Games in general that simulated life were always of interest to me. But that portion of life seems to have faded away as my enjoyment in all things that are spiritually creative now takes up the focus of my days.

Midnight Harmonics

Which activities make you lose track of time?

Ahh, being in the flow! As a very young musician who was driven to improvisation and jamming, I experienced what was later revealed to be the flow. When I’m in the flow, time doesn’t exist, seconds, minutes, and even hours can roll by without any notice. Needless to say, I love it, thrive in it, and feel blessed to be able to indulge in it.

A Hardened Heart

Are you seeking security or adventure?

I’m seeking my truth, who I truly am, my purpose in this life. It could be a quiet place of security or a vibrantly exciting adventure. My guess is that it’s probably a combination of both. Either way, I don’t want a hardened heart, I don’t want to be an obstacle to my search. I just want to get out of my own way and realize the journey.

How Well do You Know Za?

If you could host a dinner and anyone you invite was sure to come, who would you invite?

I’ve wrestled with this question before, and though I have a monumental group of four on my own personal Mt. Rushmore, I’d have to invite Jesus. My mission statement (since that’s a popular thing these days) is just Jesus! That being the case, how could I even conceive of dining with anyone else. Now if the table sat more than one guest, then my Mt Rushmore figures would certainly be the invitees.
